About WLA

In VTC, Workplace Learning and Assessment (WLA) is a structured pedagogical practice whereby students come to learn from their real and personal experiences and being assessed in an authentic workplace where education is integrated into the work setting.
While these forms of structured work experience may differ at varying degrees in their learning emphases and structures, they all provide a student with an opportunity for learning within a work setting as an integral part of the Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) curriculum.
